Hi!

Im not sure if this has been taken up before. If so, spank me :)

If I play a song with the latest version of XMBC (9.04) and then select another song and press play, the song doesnt start and sometimes the entire program stops to work. Anybody else who has this problem, and what is the problem?

Debug log. You should post one to get proper help. settings>system>hardware>enable debug logging

File should be stored in C:\documents and settings\USERNAME\application data\xbmc\xbmc.log or C:\program files\xbmc\xbmc.log, depending on how you installed it.

Oh, sorry for that!

Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/m36859f92

Can add that it works perfectly if I stops the playing song before i start the other.

Well, IDK what it means, but I'd wager that this is what's causing your problem:

Perhaps one of the devs can shed more light on why this is happening. One thing I would try is to make sure you have the most recent audio drivers for your sound card (from the manufacturer, not windoze) and also that you're running the most up-to-date directX.

Excellent choice in music, BTW. A7x ftw. ;)

Might be an old issue that was fixed with r20057.

Upgrade XBMC to a new version and see if it works.

I found out that its was some problem with the cross-fade, wich seems to be fixed in the latest build.
It works fine if i turn cross-fade off.
