Does XBMC Plays .img and vob?
Does it matter that I have VLC Installed?

Thanks!

It does:

DVD-video playback with menus (from DVD, harddrive, network, as IFO/VOB or ISO/IMG DVD-images)
(Taken from XBMC Wiki)

I've got a couple of IMG files and about 5 or 6 DVD Archives (VOB, IFO etc) and they all play flawlessly.
I have VLC installed as well so no, it doesn't matter.

Thanks a lot. Finally I can have some order in my home theatre.
Vlc is a great program but the playlist I think sucks. I whant to click on a movie poster and the film starts.

Now I have another problem.
The problem is that when I have a dvd that consists whit .vob files and Im going to set content the xbmc sets a poster to every .vob file. Even when I choose its only one film in the catogorie.
Is their any solution to this problem. Because when I select a .img file its no problem.

If their is no solution to the .vob problem. Is their any program that can convert .vob files tom .img ? ???

Thanks.

Your movie folder probably looks like this:

MOVIENAME
|
|
---------VIDEO_TS
---------AUDIO_TS

Take everything in VIDEO_TS, put it in MOVIENAME, and delete the two subfolders. That should make it scan properly.

Thats what I have been doing ???

Hmm what options should I choose?

If I choose this one all my .vob files get a poster in Library mode.

Run Automated Scan

Use Folder Names For Lookups

Scan Recursively

Folder contains a single Video

But if I choose this one then all my .vob files gets a different kind of posters, posters from another movie or documentry.

Run Automated Scan

Use Folder Names For Lookups

Scan Recursively

Folder contains a single Video

Another thing is that my XBMC doesn't play ISO files? Why?

Thanks!

You are not being very helpful for us to be able to help you, have you read the stickies on what we need with every report?
First off, we need a full debug log posted to a pastebin service.
A good description of your folder structure is also needed, plus where you set contents.

(no eliminating VIDEO_TS is not mandatory)
