Using my MCE Remote within xbmc - Please tell me how ...

Hi folks,

i'm new here and i came from germany.

I'm using xbmc under windows XP (32bit).

It works great, except the remote control. :no:

The only buttons they are recognized by xbmc are up, down, left, right, ok :nod:

pause, stop,... are doesn't work.

I have googled a lot of time but I've found no practicable way :no:

Are you able to provide a step by step tutorial for me using the mce remote within xbmc?.

What's the easyest way to fully use the mce remote ?

Are there preconfigured keymap.xml's out there ?

I hope you can help me ...

I've found EventGhost now ... is it a stressless, good way to control xbmc ?

It is, I use it myself - able to program macros and send IR to other devices which is a benefit.

Use the search there is a sticky with lots of tutorials for setting up remotes including the MCE remote. I think it even uses Event Ghost in the tutorial.
