dvr-ms issues

I am having issues when using fast forward or jump ahead on a DVR-MS file recorded using GB-PVR. When I try to fast forward, it either will not do it (it loops around from 0 secs to like 30secs, back to 0 again), or can do it at 4x max. I haven't tried all my recordings, but the ones I tried are doing that. I think that it will let you do a massive jump though ( [ or ] key presses).

Has anyone run into this issue?

Second thing, I am getting deinterlacing issues with the dvr-ms files recorded from TV on QAM. I get the horizontal lines during fast action. Is there a setting for that?

Turned out to be the EDL was enabled and these were comskipped files. Apparently if EDL is on, fast forwarding doesn't work right.

I'm still waiting if anyone has interlacing issues worked out.
