View Full Version : [ATV] hdhomerun protocol working?
I'm trying to use HDHomerun for the first time with my ATV 2.3.1 that has XBMC Babylon installed. Trying to play one of the .strm files generated by the HDHomerun software causes XBMC to exit with Status 10.
Can other HDHomerun users confirm whether they are still able to use the networked tuner?
Thanks.

davilla,
I thought it might be useful to mention that the same .strm files play fine through my Xbox running 9.04 r19198

r19198 is pretty old :)
your crashlog says 9.04.beta1 (SVN-19573M)
I'll check cur svn in a bit
Thanks, davilla. I do need to download the latest t3ch build for Xbox and install it.
As for the ATV version, turning off subtitles did not fix the problem. Logs below:

Xbox build is so different and could be using mplayer for playback. As such, I'm not interested if it works or not there.
Tested last night with 9.04 release candidate branch last night. Turn off subs, works, turn on subs, dies in the same area as your crashreporter log.
9.04.beta1 (SVN-19573M) must have some other issue.
Thanks for taking a look. I will wait for the next XBMC update for ATV.
P.S.: I did not know that the video players were different in the two platforms!
Just downloaded and installed RC1. Hdhomerun now works!
I'm also having trouble.
