Pleas help me to install XBMC on Ubuntu 9.04 (64bit) and enable VDPAU
i have nvidia gforce 8200 (Driver installed NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-185.19-pkg2 )
CPU AMD phenome x3 2.1
Ram 8GB

just so you know, vdpau is "build in" XBMC functionality so you don't need to do anything extra for that, check here for jaunty packages:

and then set you video render to vdpau

Play a VC-1 or H.264 video and press "o" during playback. You should see "_vdpau" in the video codec, and cpu usage should be quite low. Also, if you go into the video settings during playback, you will see VDPAU settings such as "Noise reduction".
