View Full Version : MusicVideos scrapper doesn´t work!
Hi,
i recognized maybe since 2 weeks that xbmc doesn´t find any musicvideos at online database. Both MTV and yahoo scraper doesn´t seem to work.
Also tried simple bands for testing but no hit is made.
It seems to be a general problem.
On windows the last builds also beta1 have this behaviour.
Also at xbox the atlantis version doesn´t work.
My xbox never was changed and it simply start not working.
Anybody have also this problem or recognized it?
Would be helpfull to know whats the problem here is.
If needed i will post a log file!

I am using Vista 32bit with xbmc babylon 9.4 beta 1 and Aeon 0.9.
Like described above MusikVideos will not find via SCRAPER MTV or Yahoo.
Tested also on xbox with XBMC Atlantis 8.1 with PM3HD. That works always since release.
Started not working maybe 2 weeks ago.
Puh looked into the log......there are many warnings, seems to come from Aeon?
Are this information okay?
Ah forget....i tried to search for Metallica......for the log file....so just search for that. I tried maybe 3 times and than i tried to update a hole directory!

That's not a debug log.
Enable debug please.
Never mind, I see the debug lower down.
So again.....i switched to pm3 hd switched debug log on.....start xbmc again.
Do some tries searching metallica and one folder and exit xmbc..

There are no results for the first one:

As for the 2nd one, there are results. My guess is that they may have changed their site and the scraper may not work properly anymore.
Yes okay thats what i thought also but....whats with yahoo....it also doesn´t work????

I do not see any yahoo attempts in your debug log.
Yes i know....wanted do another log a minute ago, but yahoo is working....sorry!!!
Tested it last time last week and there it seems not to work also.....but its fine sorry again...my fault!

mtv musicvideo scraper is fixed in SVN revision 19720.
