hi all im a bit new to all this.....i have a xbox that had xmbc installed and i tried to upgrade to a new version/skin and all i get now is a blank screen....my xbox has the EvoX chip and also has little toggle swiches at the front to turn it on and off.....what do i do now....?:no:

" XBMC is set as my dashboard, and boots to a black screen when I turn on my XBOX. What can I do?
You can reset all XBMC settings to defaults, by holding down the two thumbsticks at startup. See more here.
If this is unsuccessful, you can force XBMC to start the Error Recovery Mode, which will give you FTP access, by holding down the White and Y button down during startup."
How did you try upgrading? did you copy over your other XBMC folder? were you running XBMC at the time you tried to overwrite it? did you use the T3CH upgrader script? are you able to FTP to your xbox? if so, copy over the xbmc.log file from Q: and paste it into pastebin.com or pastebin.ca and paste that link here.

It's most likely to be either executor2 or an executor3. if so it's easy to put right with a boot cd/boot dvd. search for slayers or auto installer delux V4.
