Which External DVD player ?

ok i understand from reading endless threads that dvd playback with remote control via xbmc is not possible, nor is it possible with dvdx, the closest i have come to a working solution is to point xbmc to the default msdash to play dvd's with menu support using this line

<dvdplayer>c:\xboxdash.xbe</dvdplayer>

however i cannot return to the xbmc dash after the playback is complete, so here's the question

is there a dvd player for a chipped xbox that gives you the ability to use the remote control & allow all the dvd 'extras' to be utilised ( menus, sub titles etc ) ?

all the ms dash derivatives- thc, thc lite, bsx, d2gam have a reboot options in settings.

use an x2 bios so you can use igr (in game reset).

there are no other software dvd players other than the ones you've just listed.

do any of the software dvd players do progressive scan?
