Can't eject disk while XBMC is running

I keep xbmc running all the time, but I also have code running in the background that accesses a dvd and ejects it when it is finished. But when XBMC is running the disk cannot be ejected except manually from the XBMC controls.

Is there a way I can disable whatever is 'locking' the disk or is there something I can run on the command line that would over-ride XBMC's lock and eject the disk?

Hahaa, that's a new one. I spend a week or so getting physical DVDs to play in OSX and now someone complains about XBMC owning the DVD drive :)

Verified. File a trac ticket with these details and I'll then remember to look into this.
