Getting rid of the mouse pointer

I'm not really sure if this is the right place to ask this question...

I would like to know if there is a way to get rid of the mouse pointer. I already have the mouse disabled in XBMC settings but the pointer still shows if there is mouse movement. It's kinda annoying.

Is there a file for the pointer? If there is, than it is just a question of deleting it?

Not sure if this is aeon related, but in my experience, under windows and linux, it just disappears after a while (3-5)secs.
