hi all

i'm running xbmc with media file xstream to play all my files of the network. all works fine *:o *apart from *:sniffle: *the network mp3's. all are in the same location on my pc and total around 323 folders 2474 files *but xbmc only shows 51 objects so loads are missing. i'm at a bit of a loss as to why any ideas greatly appreciated.
also big up for a class piece of software *

did you "cross\tick" the show subfolders option in the mfx program?

see 3.2 in the mfx tutorial (http://mfxstream.sourceforge.net/tutorial.html#addshare2)

edit: also try samba for your mp3's, as it is much faster. i myself use mxf for my video and samba for my mp3's.
the fast speed is nice for the id3 tag reading. mfx is nice to merge directories together, (subs and movies)

yes
thats whats confusing its showing some of the folders but not all. i checked for folder depth issues but they are all the same.

thanks for a swift reply

i think quick and dirty is better than slow and clean in many different cases.
