Video Problem XBMC,Unleashx,Avalaunch

my xbox works fine when running xbmp. *i got xbmc center the other day it ran or started to but right away the video went black with gray vertical slashs all over the screen after two or so seconds the video went blank like there was no signal. *i used evox to start the program. *i tried to use avalaunch and unleashx but when i tried to start those program (mind you first install of these programs) they started but the video was scrambled and then went to no signal for both of them just like with xbmc. *i have a mits 55' hdtv widescreen. *i'm thinking that my xbox is display a format that my tv can't handle. *in my xbox dashboard the format i have as yes are 480p and 1080i no 720. *if someone know of a way to help me get these programs mainly the xbmc to display or work correctly please respond. *thanks

please clearify!, does problem only appear in xbmc (so works fine in all other xbox apps and games?)?, if so then please ignore bellow;

xbmc can not affect the video for other applications/games (however xbmp can if you change the ntsc <=> pal video-settings).
so this can not be a xbmc problem if you see the same symtoms under other xbox programs and/or games. your problem is either:
1. hardware problem; very likely your xbox video cable is damaged or loose, alternativly the xbox itself is actually faulty (hw).
2. video setting (eeprom) problem; less likely but if above been check then try fix with enigmah-video-selector (see xbmp forums).
(note! if you have a new xbox modchip like xenium or smartxx then it has built-in eeprom recovery features, check them instead).

video works fine with all games and xbmp. trouble comes when i try to run xbmc, avalaunch, unleashx. it's not the cable that working fine i know.
