ok guys,
first of all have a heartly pat on the back from me for the whole project... well bloody done!
just thought i'd pop this question to you in the hopes anyone can help!
i've got my xbox default dash as th latest xbmc. however you know when you first turn on your machine and it comes up with the xbox logo and then a second later "microsoft" appears underneath?
i'm pretty sure changing this in anyway would be a breach of copyright so i won't even go there but i would like to replace the whole thing with one of my own bootscreens i've made myself. is this possible?
i've looked on the net and it always talks about illegally getting the xdk and hacking the bios with something called r4 codes. as well as terrifying the life out of me i really don't want to go through all that just to have my own pretty boot screen i've designed.
is there no way i could create one in photoshop save it under some filename and then replace it over whatever the origional ms is? i mean where is this picture kept and what accesses it?
any help appreciated, cheers
