No thumbnails or pictures

Hi everyone! :grin:
I installed a new revision of XBMC last night (have been using 8.10 since the release). For some reason it doesn't generate any thumbnails (or preview pictures) for me in general!
This means there are no thumbnails for folders or files generated and I am not even able to view any pictures! When I open a picture I get a blank black screen! I don't know what's the problem! I tried different builds and everything works fine on my laptop but for my desktop computer it doesn't!

Here are the Infos:

XBMC Rev19161
(as mentioned before everything works fine on my laptop with vista home premium 32bit)
Windows Version: Vista Home Premium 64bit SP1 (including updates)
2GB RAM
Video Card Driver: 182.50
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.1.5391
Display: Samsung 2333HD

You might be missing a couple of DLL's.

msvcp71.dll (http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcp71) and msvcr71.dll (http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcr71)

Put them in your system32 folder.

Ok I put them both into system32 and tried again but it didn't help!

Update: I found out that thumbnails work for me with the Babylon Alpha release!

Update #2: Everything is working now! Thanks a lot Hitcher! I put the dll's into the wrong folder (not bla:\xbmc\system but the windows\system32 directory)! I must admit that wasn't clever!
