I recently installed SVN19161 and ripped a few cd's, the tags are right, the scrapper is finding the albums. But even if I embed artwork into the file it's still displaying the low resolution one from the scrapper. Maybe it's just my luck but the 4 albums I scrapped all came back with horrible looking covers. Is there a way to tell XBMC to use the embedded image by default? I tried with both the default XBMC skin + Stark .091 here's a link to my log, don't know if it will help but I'd really like to figure out this.

also, what program might one suggest for scanning my mp3 collection that can auto embed covers it finds? I'm building this HTPC for a friend, and they're not computer literate at all. I'd like to make this easy as possibly while still giving them high(er) quality covers.

would really appreciate help here, I'm super stuck. ALL I'm trying to do is get XBMC to read the id3 tag of my MP3's and display that artwork over the scrapped one.

Well, it seems to be working now, there's still a single album that's not using the embedded artwork but whatever XBMC did on its own mostly corrected the problem so no need for help here, unless somebody could explain why ONE album out of 20 refuses to use the embedded pic - I double checked it's there, I even removed it, re-saved the tags and re-added with no luck.

Probably due to the tags in the mp3 not quite matching or somesuch.

XBMC will read the images in the tag and cached based on album and album artist. Make sure both are set.
