Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xbmc: Depends: xbmc-common (= 8.10final1svn19085-intrepid1) but 8.10final1svn18943-intrepid1 is to be installed
Depends: xbmc-skin-pm3-hd (= 8.10final1svn19085-intrepid1) but 8.10final1svn18943-intrepid1 is to be installed
Depends: xbmc-web-pm3 (= 8.10final1svn19085-intrepid1) but 8.10final1svn18943-intrepid1 is to be installed

same problem here..
was about to switch to the svn rep. today but got the same error when doin apt-get install xbmc

(swedish as locale)
root@HTPC:~# apt-get install xbmc

skickas in.

E: Trasiga paket

PPAs are built with a dependent package ( nvidia-180-libvdpau) that is not available on your systems: PPA for Michael Marley (https://launchpad.net/~thefirstm/+archive/ppa).
The need for such a package will be removed as soon as the changes that have been committed to SVN will be tested and proved to be working.

Have you considered compiling yourself? With as many issues as you seem to be having with the PPAs it might be worth a shot? http://xbmc.org/wiki/?title=HOW-TO_compile_XBMC_for_Linux_from_source_code
