Hello Guys,

i have build a system:
Shuttle XPC SN78SH7, Sockel AM2 Mini-Gehäuse, Mainboard,Kühler
AMD Athlon64 X2 4850e AM2 Tray 2x512kB, Sockel AM2
LG GGC-H20L bulk schwarz
Samsung HD103UJ 1TB 32MB SATA II
Linksys WUSB600N, USB-Stick 300Mbps
4096MB-Kit GEIL Ultra+ PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL4

On this system i have installed Linux Mint Main Edition.

So now i have plugged the Barebone with my LCD over HDMI.

I have installed the lastest driver which i have found for the gfx: NVIDIA version 180.

VLC is also installed.

Now i have installed XBMC - it works for ground things good but for videos not really good. If i switch too often the video or if i try to do something other as to esc from a video (as example to fast forward in the movie) the system (X) freeze and i need to switch on console.

If i open the videos with VLC it is no problem - i can all do and it works perfectly.

I have tried .iso (DVD) and .avi - all the same problems.

Any advise?

Best,
Dominic

I have installed freevo to test this Media Center.

With freevo all works fine! Any idea why XBMC don`t do this? :-(
