[MOD] Sub menu to allow for easy access to genre, year, etc

HI all,

Mod
sub menus for the main menu items Movies,Tv,Music,Programs/Games....

this mod will stop the up down animation of the main menu bar on the home page but you can use the Settings >> Customise >> Furniture to move the bar still so all good.:nod:

with this mod hitting up or down will bring up the sub menu if you are on Movies,Tv,Music,Programs/Games and then on the sub menu left or right will bring you back to the main menu bar.

Nice work. I will give it a try.

Would it be possible to adjust the size and position on screen of the "popup" so that it fits the number of elements in it? I know this could be getting difficult.

It just looks so empty on the fourth screen ;-)

works great for me really nice, but maybe it would look quite smarter if you dont call up a seperate menu but do another line under the menu bar so it would be like

Movies - Games - Pictures
by Genre - by Year - by Actor.....

I hope you understand what I'm talking about^^

I noticed you've added the Weather MOD to this but not the 'Backspace' one so here's what's needs in case anyone wants to add it.

inside Includes_MainMenu.xml just change the following code on

lines 90
<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(MyVideoLibrary,movietitles)</onclick> to <onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(MyVideoLibrary,movietitles,ret urn)</onclick>
and line 98
<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(MyVideoLibrary,tvshowtitles)</onclick>

to

<onclick>XBMC.ActivateWindow(MyVideoLibrary,tvshowtitles,re turn)</onclick>

just add the ,return in the above code, i got this when asking for another mod a while ago... works perfect.

when on movies and choose plugins I get an window saying

"This libary is empty" "populate it via the videos window"

any ideas for this??

This is great!

Any way to add a sub menu to the Shutdown tab so it gives us options similar to MediaStream? I use the Restart option mostly but the others would be awesome.

i will add submenu for shutdown on the next update of the Mod pack what will be in the next 48 hours :nerd:
