I'm using an xbox right now running xbmc, but plan on setting up a HTPC in the verrry near future.

What I was wondering is that I know the xbox uses .xbe files for it's programs (namely I use emulators), and I was wondering if the windows version of xbmc uses the same .xbe files, or can I use regular emulators (with .exe extensions)

I have some Xbox360 controllers that work with my pc, and I was also wondering if those would work through xbmc?

Thanks alot guys

1. The xbox bins won't work (.xbe) but I beleive there is a launcher plugin that some have got to launch emulators.
2. Yes your x360 controllers will work to control xbmc.
