View Full Version : Weird movie showing up

I have my Movies folder added as a source, and my movies in it, named properly.
I have 8 of them, and XBMC picks them up and scrapes them just fine. I have my View option in the MediaStream skin of XBMC set to Showcase, but for some reason it shows up 9 movies, 1 of which just says "No thumb" and if I right click it, the only options I get in the context menu are Go To Root and Settings.
I checked my Movies folder for hidden files, etc, but there's nothing there, just my 8 movies.
Any ideas what this weird icon is?

It's probably 'parent directory'
settings > appearance > hide parent folder items should take care of it.

I bet you're right, I remember now it had .. (two dots) under the "poster", this is the usual sign for "Parent folder", I think
Cheers

If this is the case, I should call it a bug.

We don't scan the parent or current dirents. Check the path using the video info screen in pm3hd (only skin I know for sure displays it).

Nope, it should not be scraped that's what I mean.

Since when do bugs have settings that let you turn it on or off? That wouldn't make any sense.
There isn't anything to be scraped, it simply means 'go to the parent directory'.
Two dots ".." have represented parent directory since long before I was using computers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parent_directory

Exactly, that's what I ment. Thought I was clear about that.
