Not sure what you mean exactly but it remembers where you stopped a video so you can restart from that position next time. You can also Bookmark your own positions.

Btw I am pretty sure it only remembers if you are at least 2 minutes into the video. That drives me nuts as older xbmc on xbox didn't do that. So just make sure you are into the video a ways before you stop it otherwise it'll start from the beginning appearing to not remember the spot.

Hit m to get the control pad up on screen then go to the bookmark spot (bottom one). There might be a more direct approach, see:

I saw a setting in another media app once called 'breadcrumbs' thats exactly what popped into my head when I saw that. But do I know for sure? No.
