Can i stream WMP internet streams to xbmc???

Hey guys,

I've come on this forum lots of times to ask my silly questions, and i have done a search on this but with very little result.....

We have a service here in Holland called Eredivisie live, it's for watching live Dutch football matches. It goes a little something like this, you pay for a certain game and the site installs a DRM file on your PC. Then you've unlocked the game of your choice, and it streams the thing through Windows Media Player.........

Can i stream the webstream that is shown through WMP to your lovely creation called XBMC, or is that a really stupid question???

The DRM file is on my PC and the stream is already unlocked, the only thing i want to do is to view it on my Xbox whilst WMP is streaming it on my PC.........

And how can i set up such a connection?

it seems unlikely that it would work as I would have thought there must be some client side authentication from WMP that allows it to work. you may well give it a shot you could try clicking properties on the playing window in WMP. Then copy the url send to xbmc using "foxytunes" set xbmc as default player or ftp .strm file to your xbox
