change existing video sources

hi,

i did a search on the forum and either i was doing something wrong or i can really be surprized nobody encountered this before...

anyway, i have a library with videos, tv shows and music
but due to changes in my hard drive setup, i am switching certain folders from 1 drive to another.
is it possible to just somehow update the paths in the library?
or do i have to scan/scrape everything from scratch?

Export your library to individual files. This will place all the information alongside the movie files.

Then change your paths, kill your db, and rescan.

might sound stupid but how to export a library to separate files?

i know of only 1 export function which exports the whole library into 1 xml file as far as i know.

If it doesn't prompt you for exporting to individual files when you click on video library export, then you don't have a new enough version.
