newb questions in here. look, it will be fun.

so i installed xbmc on my intrepid 64 bit os before i realized 64 bit wasnt supported except in the svn build. so i removed xbmc, xbmc-common, and 2 other packages but i didnt uninstall the lib's that had been installed from xbmc stable. I didnt remember what they were.

so then i installed todays svn18432 build and tried to run it. same problem. the load screen comes up and then goes away. what am i doing wrong? do i need to remove the lib's from the stable build? thanks in advance

edit: sorry for the title should have specified the problem before hand.

I would imagine you would need to remove all of the old build not certain as i use a Windows (legit and paid for) / xbox
