Is it a good idea to compile a new textures.xpr if you have a bunch of images in your media folder that your skin is using.

I am mainly concerned for performance issues on the xbox. Started to wonder if they were compiled into an xpr then it would perform better. All images have already been scaled down.

Yes, it will perform considerably better on the xbox if you shove them into an xpr.

Thats what I was thinking. Between that and resizing all my fanart, my xbox is running fast and smooth. Even with the t3ch 3-4 build that has people complaining.

When using xpr express, does it matter at what quality you you compress at?

Any difference between normal and max?

to be honest, i don't know much about xpr express. i just used the included xbmctex in the svn package. you just hit build.bat and it builds a texture.xpr from all the files in the media folder.
