Hey people!
I'm new at this, and figured I start by editing the skin PM3.HD.
I'm trying to change some pictures first.. I've extracted textures.xpr using XPRExpress, and put them in the skin's media folder.
But when I've edited the pictures, the changes do not show in XBMC.
So I try to remove textures.xpr from the media folder, leaving just the extracted pictures, but then XBMC quits back to Windows..

So, how is this done correctly?

uh, all images are in svn. no need to extract the xpr. once you have done the changes you want, you need to rebuild the xpr using xbmctex

Thanks spiff,
so I have to rebuild everything to view the changes I made to say 1 or 2 pictures?
The manual states that the Media dir is where I put my .png/.gif/.jpg files..

yes, either you need to rebuild or you need to delete textures.xpr entirely.

Thanks.
Well I figured out why XBMC quit to Windows when I deleted textures.xpr, and only had the .png/jpg/gif files in the media dir.

Seems like it doesn't like home-button-focus.gif.. or any of the other gifs -when I activate the window the gif's in, like the shutdown menu gifs.. weird.
home-button-focus.gif is in the main menu, and that's why it crapped out when I loaded XBMC.
