Problem to manual scrap TV Shows (no episodes in XBMC/Library)

Hi,

I'm using the the 18004 (jester) build of XBMC for Windows and are trying to manual scrap a TV Show (a Swedish one) which XBMC not are able to scrap automatically. Nor is XBMC able to Scrap the Show even though it is available at thetvdb.com and the folder has the exact same name as the show (see error-log at end).

I've created a tvshow.nfo placed in the path \TVShow and episodename.nfo in \TVShow\SeasonX for each episode, however when I import the folder in XBMC only the show is presented in the library, but it says there are 0 episodes.

I can not understand what the problem is. Everything else is working ok. All other TV Shows where I've used XBMC Media Companion to scrap are working correctly, and I've tried to use those NFO-files to create this one.

I've tried to refresh the library within XBMC and also deleted the library completed but with no go.

Unless you want custom info in your library I would suggest the following (given that your files are named correctly (http://xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=38964))

Only have the tvshow.nfo contain the url pointing to theTVDB show
http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=seasonall&id=80919&lid=7

skip the episode nfo files.

If I have no NFO at all, the show is not recognized at all, if I have the NFOs I posted above, the show is found but no episodes are added. Will try your tips when I get back home.

Do you have a custom regexp in advancedsettings.xml? That gave a problem for me as described in this (closed) ticket:

I think some work has been done recently on the tv shows library. Try installing a more recent build, remove any tv shows regexp in advancedsettings.xml, if episodes then do not magically appear take the steps described in my comment in the trac ticket (remove tv shows folder from sources, clean library, re-add folder to sources and scan)

Your file/dir/filename structure is exactly the same as what I am using, I use Media Companion to create .nfo files

I had the same thing happen to me a few builds ago. I mapped the drive where the TV shows were stored instead of using SMB. It fixed the problem but later, I reverted back to build 16555 and was able to see episodes without drive mapping. I have not updated to a later build again to test.
