I m running the Horizonz skin (AEON mod) and would like to know if it is possible to change something so when starting up XBMB I immediately go to Watch Movies.

I know there is a setting where you can say where XBMC will start but you can only select Video, Settings, Home Screen etc. but not Watch Movies. When I select Video as start screen I still have to click on my movies folder. But what I want is that XBMC starts up and RIGHT AWAY go to Watch Movies.

Is this possible?

That sounds like a skin question to me and I'd ask the guys in Horizon

That's A XBMC setting in the settings menu. I don't know exactly in which setting menu, but in one of them you can tell XXBMC in which screen to start after startup. You don't have to do anything, It's already there.

Appearance > "start window" or somewhere around there.

He found that option but still have to set genre or whatever to go to his movies.

THX-UltraII what do you want to open genre, year ,recently added or maybe file view ?

That's why it's made like that.
You can better set a button on your harmony with the command to open (for example) "recently added"

thxz for your reply.

So there no possibility to go to Watch Movies (in Library Mode with the standard alphabetic view) when I start executing XBMC? If not, would be a great feature for people like me who only use XBMC for watching movies and no other things.

Set the setting you found above to videos.
Then bring up the context menu on the library node you want to start up every time and select "make default".

Ofcourse didn't thought about making default.
That's the way to do it. Thanks Sho.
