hi

I have installed xbmc on winXP and I have a linux ext3 partition, but the program does not recognize it, I installed the driver to access the IFS ext3 partition from winXP, but it does not work.

any suggestions?

Debianman should be using something like Debian and not XP :)

You're going to need to mount the ext3 drive outside of XBMC. The google found this http://www.fs-driver.org/index.html Mount the ext3 drive from within windows then start XBMC and add the volume as a normal drive.

so is exactly as I set the partition (as Z:\), but is not accessible from xbmc, that's the problem.

in the image, on mouse over on Z: xbmc show the path C:\Document And....

i try with elisa media center to see if they had the same problem but this works well

Oh, I see your problem.

You need to either change your drive letter or use one of the newest SVN builds from the sticky post on this forum.

In builds of XBMC older than about a month ago, the Z: drive is internally mapped to something, can't remember what. So you can't use the Z: drive on your system. Using the newer builds doesn't have this problem.

If you don't want to use the newer builds, change the drive letter to the lowest letter you can.
