Synopses from IMDB and TMDB

Hi,

Was just wondering if any other people are a little unhappy about the quality of some (a lot) of the movie synopses on both of these sites?

What i mean is that a lot of the reviews and information about the movie are just written by a normal person like us, they have grammar and spelling errors etc.

At the moment, i am taking the time to write out individual movie synopses for each movie as they appear on the actual movie cover, as i find they are most always of a better written quality.

How does anybody else feel?

I have niotcied from IMDB that there are some really lame 1 sentence ones. Good to see you correcting some! The closer to perfect we get the better for everyone.

Where? There are copyright concerns involved here which is why neither of those sites do this in the first place.

Just for personal use on my own HTPC... I'm pretty particular about things, so I want everything to be just right....And i want a decent synopsis for each movie.

So, I'm assuming for my own private use there is no violation of copyright?

TMBD is a comunity database, so you can singin and contribute to the site ( IMDB too but you need a premium membership )
