Issue with Media Preview (No Info) [Archive]

I have been experiencing a strange issue with the media preview view mode. If you take a look at the image below from the gallery, you can see where the movie title is displayed, the background fades away, revealing the lower part of the fanart. In my setup, this faded background, is a solid black. This greatly limits the amount of fanart that is visible on the screen. Also, if you see the band on the top of the screen, mine is also a solid black, instead of fading.

Thanks for any help or ideas about this. Since I am at work now, I can't attach a screenshot of the problem. I will attach one later today.

It's because colordiffuse functions were broken for the build you're using. It's been fixed this evening. Try compiling a new build now or using a build from about three weeks ago - it'll be back to normal.
