Hello everyone,
On my side:
Windows XP Service Pack 2
XBMC 8.10 Atlantis
CPU, RAM, VIdeo & Sound cards are not important in this case.
All the skins give the same problem.
I have the following problem.
XBMC does not recognize .sub files.
It is ok with .srt and other formats, but when I try with .sub nothing.
If I rename subtitle file like this:
rename some_movie.sub some_movie.srt (just rename, not conver)
It works. If I change the extension even to .txt it works again.
But when I try with .sub, it is like there's no file in the folder.
This is tested on 3 different machines. The same result.
From here (http://xbmc.org/wiki/index.php?title=My_Videos#Supported_Subtitle_Forma ts) it is clear that .sub is supported...
I searched a lot for somebody else with similar problems, but nothing found.
