Green tint on videos

Hi, sorry if it's been asked before but I couldn't find a solution.

I have an ATI graphics card, and when I use the live CD of XBMC, I get a green tint on all of my videos. The menu's are all normal colours but whenever I play any format video it has a green tint.

I have tried all of the options when starting the live CD (i.e. options 1,2,3 etc.)

I read something in other posts about an ATI DLL or something but I'm confused because I believe it is for the windows version?

I have little to no experience with linux, but I can follow simple instructions if needed.

force render method to GLSL in settings ->player -> render method
