Some noisy Tones in between Audio-Streams oO

Hello @ll/staff!

My question is: If I hear audio streams i have sometimes a scratchy tone on my music. like datafailure on a dvd or videocd!

this sound comes along the music after a short period all time.

i thought by using PAplayer it isnt so, but now i heared it again on this player. video streams work fine without sounds or anything.

What might be the problem??? xbmc or xbox?? Think xbox, so other users didnt say anything like this. (If i hear the same stream on computer everthing woks fine!!)

äääähm, Think the Problem was using Mplayer again!

didnt look carefully which player i opened. hopefully :laugh: now heraring for hours with paplayer: no problems.

hope it keeps on going :D

I get that too. streaming shoutcast, and when a song ends, i get that noise.


How'd you fix it? you used a different audio player? pap?

I get similar sounds on my xbox, restarting xbmc or rebooting clears it up.

yes!

just using PAPlayer. and i think it works. hope for patch until next release so u can choose PAP as default player...

EDIT: Just recognized Paplayer takes the same effect. So no idea on what it depends. May xbox broken??

mine does it in 17322. only noticed in streaming from shoutcast so far. not in local mp3 playback.
