Hi guys,
I have a Asus M2A-VM HDMi with AMD 5000+ AM2 CPU and 2GIG corsair ram with a 250GB SataII drive. I have install XBMC on the drive and its running perfectly but when playing mkv or avi files i get some video problems.
Sometimes looks like the video is split into two horizontal parts and don't sync up while playing (tearing). CPU load is at most 30-45%(on both cpu's) when playing avi files, 40-55% load on 720p mkv's.
Now the big problem is when playing 1080P video's video is damn slow and video and audio is out of sync completely with cpu running at around 70-80% load. Does this mean its under powered? Is my media pc to slow to handle 1080P?
Is there some performance tweaks i can try to increase performance and to get rid of the video tearing in avi and 720P/1080P mkv?? :confused2:
Also, has anyone figured out how to get the volume louder in this build yet?:confused2: I have set the volume to its max using alsamixer but still too soft.. :(
Thanks guys.. :D
