Good day all,

I have just set up the Shuttle SG33G5 as my Media Center PC using an HDMI cable to the TV but unfortunatly I am not getting any audio at all. I have Windows XP 2005 Media Center Edition and tried using the drivers from the Shuttle site but none of them seem to install correctly.

Can anyone offer any advice to resolve this problem as it is driving me insane !!

Thanks in advance,

Mitch....

you have to check if the GPU is conected to the soundboeard ( or motherboard if it is the case )

The G33 is an integrated GPU, so you shouldn't have to make any additional hardware connection. Make sure you download the latest Intel graphics drivers and that "Intel HDMI Audio" shows up somewhere in device manager. Then try getting Windows sounds to play through HDMI by switching the default output device in the sound control panel. If you get that working, turn on digital output in XBMC.

Sorry if that's a little general, I don't do sound over HDMI personally.

Thanks for the input guys.

Well, I finally got it to work, but I had to manually install the driver through the Device driver route, as the exe that came from the Shuttle site falls over, but forcing the driver to install did the trick.

Cheers........
