QUESTIONS!
1: whats the perfect setup of tv folders for the scraper to detect tv shows and the episodes. at the moment, i've got the show folder, then a folder for each series and the episodes in the folders. well this has not resulted in much joy.. any help?
2: turns out i thought i had a offical windows media centre remote. turns out its a cheap knock off and has very limited use with xbmc. i can stop play and go up, down left and right. so i can't go back just fowards if im in videos and wanna go to the music, i can't. is there a remote i can buy and it'll just work and do everything outta the box. fully functional with XBMC
3: the skin mediastream is great looking but it doesn't have a folder view. im forced to use libary view all the time which isn't helpful when alot of my tv shows and other random media isn't catagorised. right so how in mediastream do you switch to folder view?
4: old question but seems unanswered in its basic form. why can't we have a bootable pc by remote control?
any help would be useful. please avoid posting links to how to pages that i can't understand. i'd prefer typed answers please...

1. There is no perfect setup. Look in the manual for your options.
2. Tons of forums posts for this. Maybe consider EventGhost or another option mentioned in the forums. Even the real M$ remote does not work right off the bat.
3. It has a folder view. Go to Videos then push to the right until you see the menu and deselect library.
4. That is up to your motherboard and its power settings. Has nothing to do with XBMC.

Edit: For #3. I should not have said deselect Library but change Library to say Files instead.

I have say:
D:\TV Shows\Seinfeld\
I put all the files into one folder for a series. They are labeled as s01e01.
Also make sure you are scanning recursively.
1. Provided you don't have more than one show in a given folder it has more to do with file name than anything else. If you understand RegEx you can look at the actual scraper in XBMC\system\scrapers if not, experiment until you find a naming convention that works and stick with it.
2. Search the forum.
3. See earlier posts.
4. The Antec Fusion case has the capability to power on with a remote. You connect the Power button leads to the IR panel, then the leads from the IR/VFD panel to the PWR pins on the motherboard. Connect the special 5V standby power cable to the IR receiver and the system will power on via a MCE remote's power button. You can change the power settings in Windows to power off, hibernate or standby on power button presses depending on your preference.

Someone didn't bother reading the thread... He wanted an example dir structure for tv series, not a blurry picture of an ugly midtower case in your living room.

A general example is:
C:\Television\Battlestar Galactica\Season 1\Battlestar Galactica s01e01.mkv
If that doesn't work, there are a couple things you might try. A few revisions ago I was having some trouble in this regard. If you set content for each individual show by highlighting the show in file mode, setting content, and then doing a full refresh, the above naming scheme SHOULD work.
The other common naming schemes are "battlestar.galactica.s01e01.mkv" and "battlestar.galactica.101.mkv"
Any of the above should work.

Your epenis must be throbbing after cluttering this thread with so many lame, useless screenshots. No one cares about your system, including the OP who only wants to know how to layout his TV series...

usb wakeup or something like that..

It's not really a feature of the motherboard. Provided it has the standard two pin PWR leads and it fits in a Fusion case (MicroATX) it will work. There's nothing to configure in the BIOS or any feature to turn on. The IR/VFD connects to the motherboard via USB as well, but this connection has nothing to do with the PowerOn/Off via remote and it would work even if the internal USB was not connected. The only thing that matters is that you pass the power button leads through the IR panel and connect the special 5V power cable from the PSU that is included with the case to the panel. I don't think this is documented well or at all in the Fusion manual, but you can find forum posts on how to do it if you Google.
