I just built a new HTPC:
-fresh install of XP SP3
-XBMCSetup-Rev17522-jester-ffmpeg-mt.exe

I am learning how to use the Library, and have spent a lot of time today organizing, adding, etc..

Today, every so often when I restart XBMC, the video sources list, and all the info from the Library is gone. After the first time it happened, I started randomly backing-up the C:/program files/xbmx/userdata folder. After I put a back-up in its place, everything is fine again.

The most recent time this happened, this is what I was doing right before it happened:
1. Exported the library as a single file to the desktop.
2. Closed XBMC and went to the desktop to examine the file.
3. Re-launched XBMC, and everything was gone again.

Any idea what's going on?

I believe that 17522 is broken when it comes to library. It should be fixed in newer builds.

bobd76 from the looks of it you are following the mt jester build. Those builds do not keep up with the SVN as much as the non mt ones. As such your going to need to check the non mt version prior to posting a bug report as your already over 50 builds out of date.

This way if you find the non mt is working you can tell jester and he will likely build a new mt.

Welcome to the world of debugging :)
