EventGhost and XBMC Search Function

Hi All,

I seem to have a minor issue with Event Ghost and XBMC. I've tried searching the forums, but couldn't find the answer to this question, so hopefully someone knows of a quick fix.

I've set up EventGhost to work great with my XMBC except for the search function in Library/Files mode. Whenever I go to that function, none of the key presses on the remote do anything.

I am using an MCE RC6 remote and an IR Blaster.

Any ideas?

The virtual keyboard doesnt work with remote control arrows. Search for virtual keyboard if you want confirmation.

This is probably my biggest annoyance with XBMC. Is this something they plan to address or is it "by design"?

I have my remote arrows mapped to the keyboard arrows and it still doesn't work.

I think there is a trac ticket for it. But many do not believe its not possible to fix due to some reason that I cant remember.

There's an advancedsetting to workaround it.

I'm also planning on fixing it properly, but just haven't had the time to finish it off as yet.
