Black screen

Installed latest version (8.10) on ubuntu 8.10 using "sudo apt-get install xbmc".

Seems to install fine but I get a black screen and can't exit the program without using "kill".

Need more info dude. What driver are you using? Which version of 8.10 did you install? Did you enable Restricted Drivers? That should get you started, feel free to add more specific information, like hardware also.
