View Full Version : TV Shows Not Updating Automatically

I'm in the windows 7 beta, and all other features of XBMC are working fine, including automatically updating my movie library when I add movies to the folder. However if I add episodes to a television series like the Office it does not update automatically. Even if i select scan for new content on the context menu it finds nothing. Every week I must select TV Show Information and select refresh and it will refresh info for ALL episodes, this time finding the new one as well. This is extremely tedious to do week after week though, is there any reason for this, something I have done wrong? what can I do to update my tv shows automatically?
You are using the Library I presume?
How about the "Update Library" context menu option?
I have the same issue with my Ubuntu 8.10 install.
It scans movies fine and then moves on to TV shows and skips though all the shows without adding anything.
I removed the Movies and then it started scanning the TV Shows. There is an issue but I have no idea what to say the bug is...
Does anyone else have this issue???

your not going to have any support unless you post a debug log. Your request is way to vague.
Posting a log is easy though check out the stickies :)
I have the same with recent SVN's. Will post a log tonight.
There have been n threads in the past few days on this forum regarding thetvdb.com timeouts.
