I don't know why my post has been deleted. I searched in the forum but only found solutions for Intel- and ATI-graphic-cards...

Since my switch from Vista 32bit to Windows 7 Build 7000 64bit I can't use XBMC properly anymore. There are flashing black bars everywhere which, I guess, is related to some vsync-problem. In windowed mode there's no problem. I also tried different GeForce-drivers but the problem still exists. Some infos:

XBMC: 8.10 Rev17650 - Jester
OS: Windows 7 Build 7000 64bit
CPU: E8400@3.00GHz
RAM: 6GB
Video: GeForce 9600 GT (181.22)
Sound: Onboard (Realtek, ASUS P5Q SE/R)
Log: http://pastebin.com/m3d2c4c27

Hope somebody can help. Thanks in advance

Hey, mine has been going fine on Win7, except today for a second I alt-tabbed out and then back in and I had those flashing black bars, a 1080p movie was running so I wasn't suprised...

RAM usage spiked to 90% but I didn't check much into what was causing it, If I can manage to recreate the error I'll try find out. I have V-sync enabled. (Which is still using high CPU btw, I thought this was fixed like last year??)

Please try a more current version. Either a third party svn build or the 9.04 rc1 from our download page.

I'm having the same problem with the flashing horizontal bars... I'm running pre-9.10 r22528 (though this also happened on 9.04), on a clean install of Windows 7, with a Galaxy GeForce 9600 GT hooked up to a 1080p tv

This only happens when the windows font DPI is set to normal (when it's set at a higher DPI I don't have this problem) or with "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" turned on in compatibility settings. I have to have the high-DPI font because it's a tv, and I can't run XBMC with the high-DPI font because the taskbar stays on top, and XBMC is zoomed way in (using the DPI compatibility settings is the fix posted in other threads here).

I've tried all the vsync settings in settings > screen, to no effect. When else could I try?

Me too. I'm using a fresh install of Win 7 Pro, and XBMC 9.04.1-repack2.
I'm using a HP 6910p laptop, with the ATI X2300 card: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12699_na/12699_na.PDF
