Have video files launch with last player used

For example if I launched a video file with play using...dvdplayer it would then always play that file with dvdplayer unless I switched it back again. I think many people would appreciate this and find it very useful. I would also like to thank every single person who has worked on xbmc, truly an amazing project.

Unless I am mistaken, that is the default behaviour. Have you tried?

Yes I have tried on several builds and this is not the case. I am currently using T3CH XBMC 2008-11-13 8.10 PROPER. (was using t3ch latest release but it had too many bugs.)

there is no such support currently.

edit: actually i'm only 50% correct. IF a bookmark is saved, we also save the player since the state needs to be part of a bookmark.

Thanks for the reply. Any chance we might see this feature in the future? (mplayer really struggles with some file types and with higher resolutions compared to dvdplayer.)
