cant Configure the System

im new to XBMC and the Media stream skin and im having a little trouble. when on the home screen i can access the "configure the system" menu. i click on it but nothing happens. if tried reseting and reinstalling XBMC. any ideas?
im running XP Pro, XBMC 8.10 and media stream 1.0

try the right arrow key that opens the next blade with more options.

Clicking on that menu item should take you straight to the Settings menu (pressing right and then clicking on Settings performs the same action)

It sounds like your skin installation could be messed up (missing settings files?) so you might want to try re-installing

I have the same problem using the Mediastream skin that came with XBMC; in a mouse-only setting I cannot access the System menu. I found the only way to get in there is with the keyboard.

That's likely as MediaStream was never designed with mouse control in mind, it was designed for use with remote control and keyboard. Sorry :sniffle:
