Hi,

Just installed 17100 and XBMC does not seem to look at the skins folder in ~/.xbmc/skins . Also curiously lists the default 2 twice. I created a symlink from the skin i use from ~/.xbmc/skins in /usr/local/shared/xbmc/skins and it sees it (twice)

Worked fine in 17095 but trying to add Fight Club was driving me mad so i upgraded to 17100 as there was a fix in 17096 (now no scraping seems to work, too fast and not finding Fight Club at all, before was finding Jurassic Fight Club. I hope this is the right place to log bugs.

First one will be due to the changes for U: to special://user - please log on trac.

Second one you'll need to be far more precise about what's working and what's not.

Ok done - http://xbmc.org/trac/ticket/5693

Second: 17100: When i "update library" it does not find "Fight Club" (not previously imported) The scan happens so quick i dont think it is working at all (i have 3TB of media currently) in the past when the scan goes that quick it did not detect new media at all.

On 17995 the scan did run but found Fight.Club.720p.mkv as "Jurassic fight club" hence upgrading to 17100 as there was a fix for scraping in 17996.

Hope that is clearer.

Thanks! The skins not being seen in ~/.xbmc/skins has been fixed (for quite a few versions now).

Unfortunatly the scraper issue i have remains.

I have added about 30 new movies to a directory called "Movies" on a local drive "/media/bigdisk/Movies"

When i hit "Update Library" the progress bar zips through this folder in under a second and does not add the new movies. It does not seem to be scraping this dir at all.

Part 2:

If i select a move that has already been scraped and is already in the library but has been matched incorrectly, i used to be able to click the movie in the library, hit "Movie Information" and click "Refresh". I get presented with a dialog to enter text for the scraper to use to look up the movie. This used to work a charm but for a while now, as soon as you hit done or enter, it instantly comes back with the same dialog as if it did not try to look up the name.

Part 3: (least important, but had better mention it)

Same as above (part 2) but if I have "Use folder names for lookups" enabled on the "Movies" folder, when i do the above (part 2), instead of it giving me the name of the movie that i am trying to lookup, it thinks the wrongly scraped movie, is called "Movie".

I am currently using SVN 17268

On a positive note, a movie i ripped from HD-DVD (Corpse Bride) has suddenly started to work! Before no audio and frame rate was all over the shop. Now it is smooth, very smooth. Thanks again! (I assumed i just messed the extraction up somehow)

The IMDb scraper was disabled in SVN. You'll either have to reenable it yourself (search) or switch to a new scraper such as themoviedb, which is open.

Cool, thanks. Switched to TMDb and works like a charm.

What i did notice is movies previously scraped with IMDB do not now use TMDb if you try to refresh their movie information. This is fine as i just deleted the erroneous ones and rescanned the folder so it did use TMDb.

Part 2 from below now works also

Part 3 is still an issue though. If you try to refresh the movie information and you have "use folder names for lookups" checked, it will search on the root folder and not the file file name even though it imported it into the libary using the file name. This i can totally ignore as i just wont enable this and put movies in sub folders below the root "Movies" folder.

Thanks again!

You should _either_ have:

1. All movies in their own folders.
2. All movies in one folder.

Don't try and mix 'em - it's not guaranteed to work.

Cheers,
