Hi folks, I've only been using XBMC for about a week now. I was using the default PMIII skin at first, but I decided to try out MediaStream.
In PMIII I had all videos under "Videos". I added them with the "Add source..." option shown there. But in MediaStream I don't understand how to populate the TV Shows, and Movies categories, since I don't see the option to add sources. And how do you make it display all the neat graphics for each movie/show, etc?
Is there a tutorial or something I should read?
You have to set content to your files so they wil be in your library. (movies,TV shows)
The best thing you can do is, Read this thread.

It sounds like you are using Files Mode and not Library Mode. I also use Files Mode!
You have to go to the Settings to enable Videos to show up in the Main Menu and you should also disable the Movies and TV Shows from the Main Menu. Then the Videos section should show what you've already set up via PMIII.
I have same issue
I have nas with videos share
I hadded new source with my \\nas\videos\tv and categorized it as tv shows but and had it recursively searched but my tv shows main menu option is never populated
same with movies so I just disabled them but imho this just ruins the features of this skin and I might as well go back to pm3.hd

Just setting the content to tv shows won't populate it, you need to make sure the files are named properly and scan it too (press info on folders/files).
Did you read/follow the tutorial I posted the link to above?
yes but I have no internet at home could that be a problem?

Um, yeah...How do you expect it to gather information from the internet if you have no internet connection? ;)
