Is anyone else having problems with adding more then one profile, were it wont login or change to the new profile and instead it will load the master profile? I can add one profile which will work fine and login under that name. But when I try the second profile I added the above happens. Might be a bug?

I'm running T3CH XBMC 2008-12-30 **FIXED** SVN rev16762. Here is my debug log of the issue http://pastebin.com/m61c0fce4. What Im doing is logging in under my profile "William" (Master) then adding a new profile called "ka" then trying to load it from the context menu which seems to do nothing.

Then I log off and try log on using new profile "ka" from the login screen. I check then to see that the master profile has loaded instead on the shut-down menu.

I then add another profile called "another" and do exactly the same again with the same result of it loading the master profile. I have one successful profile created for my son "Ben" which works any other profile I try add will not work.

Anyone else having this issue cos this looks like a bug.

I had this, and forgot about it.
Create the profile.
Create a folder with the name of the profile in the "profiles" directory. (userdate/profiles/profile_name/)
Copy the contents of the userdata folder from the T3CH build into the profile folder.

Should work.
It appeared to me that it wasn't properly creating the data folders when you create the profile.

Right I'll try this as later thanks. Would be looking to get a more permanent fix for this issue rather then a workaround.

Once you do it, it should be fixed. AFIK it only caused a problem on profile creation. Once the files/folders are present it works as it should.
Of course, the proper way to deal with it is to report the bug on the tracker so it gets fixed, as I should have done. lol

I think this issue has been fixed in T3CH XBMC 2009-01-25 SVN rev17349
