add source not an option

Greetings all;
I just purchased an apple tv and applied the patchstick and did all the upgrades. I am trying to set up an smb share but add source does not appear in the video menu. I've been going nut all night trying to find it. Is something broken, am I doing something wrong ? I am running os x 10.5.5 on my mac and an aTV 2 with XMBC Atlantis (bf1). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In XBMC goto
Settings>>Apperance>>View Options then uncheck "Disable Add Source button..."

Thank You kindly for your help. I was able to add the source but now I get a can't connect to network error. I am able to connect with all the computers on the network so I suspect this has something to do with aTV 2.3 everyone seems to be unhappy with. Do we know of any workarounds.
