Strange remote issue

I've got a strange issue with my X10 remote. It's fully working with XBMC cuz' I configured it. Every single button is working - but: After some time, the remote stops working for no reason.

The remote itself doesn't stop working, it's working as usual, just not under XBMC - when I shut down XBMC and restart it, the remote is working again with XBMC - seems like some kind of remote driver(?) stops wirking in xbmc - is that possible?

Any1 got an idea? It's kinda annoying :/

I had a very similar problem with an MCE remote and IRSS. It seemed to be because of the USB adapter card. As soon as I used a USB port on the motherboard, it stayed working.

I actually AM using an usb port directly from the mainboard :/
